PET NOOK / THE GOOD FINDS CLUB
Find the right everyday upgrade
BY PET NOOK · UPDATED OCTOBER 27, 2026
Start with one daily need, then check the fit. This guide compares the roles of our current six finds; it is based on official product information, not hands-on testing. Some links on this website earn us a commission.
01 / Dinner on a schedule
Granary Smart Feeder is the simpler option when feeding schedules are the priority. Choose the Granary Camera Feeder if seeing the feeding area also matters. Both are dry-food feeders: check kibble size, portion needs, bowl access and your pet’s size before ordering. A feeder does not replace someone checking on your pet.
02 / A view beyond the food bowl
Scout Smart Camera is a separate indoor camera for observing a wider area. Think about placement, a power socket, Wi-Fi coverage and who can access the account. Its cloud recording, smart summaries and highlights require a paid plan. If you only want to see meals, compare that ongoing cost with the camera feeder’s role.
03 / A drinking station that fits
Dockstream 2 Fountain is mainly designed for cats and can suit small dogs. Pick the exact plug-in or cordless version, check the tank against daily use, and allow time for cleaning. Filters are a recurring expense. Keep a separate source of drinking water available while introducing a fountain.
04 / Air care in a pet home
Meowant PA16 adds filtration to a shared indoor space. Consider the actual room, airflow, fan setting, noise tolerance and replacement filters. It will not remove all settled hair or replace cleaning and ventilation. For health concerns, ask your veterinarian rather than relying on an air purifier.
05 / An open litter-box routine
Meowant SC10 is a cat-only option with an open-top design. Check the current manual for weight, age, litter and placement requirements. Introduce it under supervision, keep a familiar litter box available and clean the sensors as instructed. Automatic cleaning still requires routine maintenance.
